“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” - Steve Jobs

  2. Hello irina,

I have tried to thank you and comment all day...blogger would not let me.

Thank you so very much for your kind words today about my post on my mothers birthday. You are so sweet. My mother is such a special woman and I am so lucky and blessed to have her in my life.

I love this post, words to live by especially in this day and age. Life is fragile and unpredictable, we need to surround ourselves with people we love, unburden ourselves from trying to do it all and just enjoy life.

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you again,

    Xo elizabeth

  3. WOW.

Steve Jobs knew what he wanted,he did it, and left us. But what he left was a way of living that without it, we wouldn't have this opportunity to make OUR DREAMS COME CLOSER to our realities, for now, we can reach further than ever imagined. We can reach out to each other.

LOVE TO YOU MY SWEET AND WONDERFUL FRIEND! Anita

  6. If you are witty and wise, you can enjoy freedom without hurting others. As life's longevity is uncertain, we should enjoy helping others to satisfy our own self esteem.
Loved your post but at the end- saying of Steve Jobs reminds us of his lesson of self courage etc. With Steve gone poor apple is orphan. Steve every morning thought it was last day of his life, so he kept up his work to finishing his needed work.
He encouraged the youth to be self reliant instead of depending on others' misleading ideas.
The world would miss him of course.

  7. Hi Irina,

I came by way of Anita's blog. Isn't she one of the sweetest bloggers out there? That first quote you have listed is so true about the difference between giving up and knowing when you've had enough. I am going to have to borrow that and post it to facebook.

    Thank you!
    Heidi
