  1. What a wonderful quote! For someone who is not artistic in any sense this gives me hope!

I hope you are well dear friend and that you are beginning to see the signs of Spring.

  2. Good morning my friend! THank you for visiting, and I did finally see the copy of the magazine, just this morning.

This is a great reminder up here that you share. "Share a poem, even if it's a lousy one..." THAT IS SO TRUE because at least you're creating something and with persistence, if one cares to, one can improve. If one does not want to get better, well then, OK!

Thank you for this reminder for this TYPE A maniac that I am!!!!!!!

  3. Hello Irina:

" The arts are not a way to make a living.
They are a very human way of making life more bearable"..

How we so subscribe to this and how typical of you, with all of your sensitivity, thoughtfulness, kindness and caring, should be the one to include it in a post. Lovely. And thank you for enriching our Sunday. xxx

  8. That's a great quote, Irina. This is so true! Thanks so much for your visit. It is crazy how fast little Santino is growing up. It literally feels like overnight he is crawling all over the place. I'm getting a workout! haha...And Maximus is a big help and loves his brother so much. Today he said to Santino, "I love you baby so much to the moon." Awe....hope that love always continues between the two of them.

    Take care my friend!

  12. Yes, that is a great quote!

And your artwork is so lovely, the sparkle is delightful!!!!!

Isn't it a joy to create art? When I'm not it feels like something important is missing.

  13. Oh, what a wonderful quote.
How are you, lovely Irina / Palomasea? :) Have I ever mentioned how much I love that word? Would love to hear more about it some time. In Spanish, "paloma" means dove and "sea" means be.
I tried a new egg recipe this morning and, of course, instantly thought of you. teehee
Enjoy this gorgeous Sunday, my friend, and be a dove. ;)
    XOXOXO

  15. Hi, Irina
This is such a charming post! So many artists are starving artists who need only rise to the occasion to create. You noticed I said 'starving artists' as it seems so many of the most gifted of artists never became rich. Hopefully they were 'rich in spirit' and that is what blessed the world. And then there are some artists who draw the most ridiculous pieces of art and become 'recognized'. There is sometimes no rhyme nor reason to the world of successful artists.
    I do love your artwork!
Hope you are doing well and Spring has shown its face a little?
    XO

  17. What a great quote! There is nothing like the feeling of accomplishment...especially for an artist. Inspiration develops into a simple idea..and before you know it, you've created something magical!
I have been very busy with work designing an 8000 sq. ft. store for a wonderful client. An urban hardware/antique/whatchamacallit store! It's so much fun designing specialty areas and creating visual displays.
Spring is finally here! I hope your weather has changed for the warmer, as well. Ahhhhh....75 degrees and sunny days! Finally!
I hope all is well with you...
Sending you sunny thoughts and lots of love, my friend.
    xoxoxo Lisa
