  1. Now there's my kind of thinker. If we never asked "Why not?" it would be a boring existence, for me at least! GOOD MORNING MY DEAR! I really can't believe it's July 1!! LOVE! Anita

  2. Oh Irina, yes, this man's words speak volumes to me. It has taken me my life-time to appreciate his work, however, and just yesterday I was reading a blog that discussed the various tastes in the art world and Picasso came up as a sort of example of what has been hailed great by a society that has substituted the more realistic type of art for abstract. But it's those abstract THINKERS that make us grow out of ourselves. Thank you for always celebrating what keeps us HUMAN! LOVE YOU!

  5. Oh my dear.....our guests for the evening just left (a wonderful poet and his wife!) and I see that you, my faithful sister, must visited my new blog. I wrote this piece in just two hours, making it more like a draft than anything, but that is the purpose of Ecrire au fil de la plume; it will be a place to just simply write what comes to my head, no photos, just all me. Thank you for reading, for seeing the potential, for being the friend that you are to me.

Now off to bed for me - and my voice surprisingly, is coming back!!!! Anita

  12. Love the Picasso quote ... he says the wittiest and most original things. He was quite a Faun that man, a natural force, brilliant in his art and brutal sometimes, in his relationships ...
Hope you have a splendid sunday Irina - thank you for your visit and sweet comment!
