Her most productive years were from age 80-105.
Wow.
ReplyDeleteI just finished reading the entire link you provided and well, this is what I needed to read, experience and digest.
Oh what a GIFT LIFE IS!!!!!! It is to be lived and not tucked away because of fear. Georgia O'Keefe's quote is BRAVE. To be BRAVE when you are afraid. COURAGE!
THANK YOU MY DEAREST IRINA! Anita
Gorgeous, strong, women,
ReplyDeleteall.....I'm sure you would fit
well amongst their ranks, Irina!
Happy Easter,
xx Suzanne

ReplyDeleteHappy Easter!
Hello, Irina
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting these fabulous photos of these ageless women. What an inspiration to continue on in our artistic endeavors or whatever our passion may be, whether it is writing, photography, art, or music (which some of us try to attempt to do all of those things!) And there was Tasha Tudor with her timeless quality...it gives me hope that there is still time for me to write a couple of novels!
And a very lovely resurrection weekend to you! Jesus Lives!
hugs,
Teresa
Such inspiring women! Hope you had a very happy Easter :)

Wow, Irina, this post is inspiring, and one I can really relate to, especially Georgia O'Keeffe's words about how she has pressed on to do what she has felt she needed to do, despite all her life-long fears. I am her brother in fear. I pray that I will also be her brother in not letting fear keep me from what I want to do.
ReplyDeleteOn another note, thank you for your kind words on my post on Heavenly Minded. I left a response to your comment there because I did not want to distract attention from your wonderful post here.
Joy and peace to you and your family.
Ruben

Beautiful as usual, Irina. I especially love Georgia O'Keeffe's quote...but I think you may have already known that. ;) Thank you. Beatrice's most productive years, 80-105? WOW!! Inspiring. I think it's all productive, even when we run and hide from hatred for a bit. We come back a little more seasoned for greatness. :)
ReplyDeleteLove you, beautiful heart.
Dear Irina, all these women are so inspirational! Must find out about the last one - she sounds amazing! Have a fine week ahead!
