  7. Lovely quote my dear. So sorry to be so late in visiting you. My life is not my own right now. It's so very busy. I hope you and Anita have been able to spend time with one another. You two sound like two peas In a pod. ;)

    Hugs!

  9. Childe Hassam's artwork is so vibrant and timeless. Yes! We all love being given flowers!
I have a rose bush that always 'gifts' me with four roses on one stem. It is only on the one stem out of the entire bush that does it. All of the other stems just produce one rose each. It is quite remarkable. I posted the photo of the four pink roses as a 'bouquet' a few weeks ago after that terrible Oklahoma tornado in the city of Moore, OK. as a 'virtural' rose memorial for that tragedy. I love the classic vintage oil paintings of pansies, and also of rose bouquets. I need to test my skills as painting flowers and paint myself my own garden of flowers! Thank you for the thought!

  10. Great quote! Don't you just love this time of year? I hope you are enjoying it. Thanks for stopping by recently. I haven't been blogging a while lot lately...need to post something soon. Only 9 more weeks to go until the baby comes. I still feel like there's a lot to be done. :)

    xoxo

  13. Yes, indeed! I just returned from a trip abroad...was in Scandinavia. It was incredibly beautiful there. All the fields of wild flowers. Wonderful quote, Irina. Thank you for sharing it with us.
