Dear Irina, Oh this SNOWMAN! What a smile he gave me. Sweet post my dear friend.. I hope you enjoyed your Valentine's day... Mine was lovely... Thank you for your visit the other day, sorry I am now just getting back to you.. I was out of town. blessings, Penny
Amen...isn't it great when we get to this point in life! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog the other day....hope your Valentine's day was amazing. xoxo Happy weekend.
Hello Irina: To be a confident person and to believe in oneself is such an advantage in life and something which, we believe, can be developed by everyone.
It takes a lifetime to really UNDERSTAND that Ophra quote, and to internalize it. Talking with you this week has really changed my direction in a very positive way towards WHO I REALLY AM. But it takes courage to look beneath all the layers that other people have heaped on your life. This is living: to dig YOURSELF out and truly blossom. You have helped me my friend. Merci.
Oh how I love that photo of the woman in red. The style of her soul, spilling out in red beauty!
My dear, thank you for coming to visit the cool waters of my post. I am craving even more than ever, to be near the ocean. I keep dreaming it, nightly! I hope to get over to Santa Monica on my trip to CA. I just have to see the ocean once again. AND that photo with the horse and man....isn't it lovely?
What a wonderful saying Irina! And that snowman cracks me up ha ha...I'm afraid he wouldn't last long here...he would be all melted.....Wishing you a beautiful day dear Irina...much love to you, Dzintra xo
My precious sister, how delightful to find your comment this morning! It seems that many people are having computer problems and I even had a time with glitches occurring during my blogging time, leaving comments!
Thank you for coming to view Koralee's book. I am SO THRILLED FOR HER! Oh, you should see it. It is filled with such color, sweetness and love.
Hi sweet friend...just popped over to see what you have been up to lately? Wishing you a very blessed weekend...hope the sunshine is out and you are able to enjoy it. xoxoxo HUGS
Hi Irina, So nice to hear from you! I love the Oprah quote, it is so what we each do to ourselves, worry about what others think. Let's all find happiness in who we are. Thank you for always having just the right words to share! Big hugs to you, Patti
Good evening dear Irina, Thank you so much for popping over! Your visits are always welcome... Thank you for your heartfelt words. Wishing you a beautiful week ahead. Love and blessings, Penny
Yes, that used to be me! I think with age (and life experiences) comes confidence. And also self acceptance!! I hope you are doing well, Irina. I'm looking forward to spring and the longer days ahead :) Take care, Loi
Irina, I couldn't resist stopping by again today. When I stopped by yesterday, I noticed The Essential Rumi on your sidebar and it caught my attention. I didn't follow up with a google search or anything because I had so many errands to do yesterday; HOWEVER, this morning during my quiet time--when I typically like to include some reading--I was finishing a book I have been working my way through for about two years, An Altar in the World by Barbara Brown Taylor. It is a small book but it is one of those books that exposes our hearts and brings us face to face with the very prejudices that we think we are so free of. Needless to say, I have taken it in little by little and even though I finished it today, I am more inspired than ever to read it again. In An Altar in the World, the author's closing quote is from none other than The Essential Rumi whom she considers "the love poet of all times." Needless to say, when I ran into his name again this morning, I smiled. hahaha You think Rumi is trying to tell me something? :) Yes, I'm off to find the book...and I ABSOLUTE LOVE how we are so woven together in spirit, my friend. Love to you.
"Today, like every other day, we wake up empty and frightened. Don't open the door to the study and begin reading. Take down a musical instrument. Let the beauty we love be what we do. There are hundreds of ways to kneel and kiss the ground."
