I am a huge believer of this, Irina. Putting two children through college rarely leaves us pocket room for vacations anyhow, but for many years now I've learned to find joy from a more consistent source. :) I actually take pleasure in the simplest of things too. Low maintenance gal here.
Was wonderful visiting all three of your pages tonight. Off to dreamland now. zzz...
Hello Irina: Such very, very wise words and ones which more of us need to take heed of. It is, finally, the everyday life which counts and which needs to be lived and appreciated at all times.
Sweet Irina, that quote is wonderfully inspirational and a reminder that much of life's happiness is found in our daily living... I think that the quote is something like, "happiness is a journey, not a destination."
we don't need a vacation from this temporary journey of life on Earth-- which is full of tests indeed. As we can't escape from the heavenly mandatory obligations, we should accept the reality-- Life is a tough struggle without break.
Love this today....but with that said..i am off on a vacation with my family for 10 days and looking so forward to it. Back to school as soon as I come home! Hugs to you my sweet friend...hope your summer is going well. xo
Dear Irina, so true these words! Although i must say - i LOVE a good vacation now and than ... Summer is lovely here, but i hope to travel a bit in autumn! Have a super sweet sunday, and thanks for your darling comment on my blog! xx
Now that is something to really think about dear Irina..set oneself up and there will be no need to vacation...Simply Blissful...I am just imagining how it would be...xoxo
